What Have You Done to Increase Your Readership Today?

To make any sort of money in blogging, you have to have readers. Regular readers are great, wonderful even, but there is value in the one-off visitor.

The usual suspects include submitting to Digg, guest posting on other blogs, including your blog address in forum/email signatures, and commenting on other blogs. There are also some lesser used methods.

These are all fine and dandy to know, but actually doing something is always the hardest part for most. So what have you done to increase your readership in the last 24 hours? Here’s my list:

So far these three small things have brought in a steady increase in traffic, which I expect to grow further. As a bonus, some of those visitors have become subscribers!

Have you ever thought of addressing the topic of leaving comments on blogs. I get lots of hits, but not a lot of comments. It takes only a few minutes to leave a comment and it’s so courteous. If someone does leave a comment I certainly make a point of visiting their blog. So, if were all trying to get everyone to read each others blog what does it take for us to leave messages?
