But reinspired by both your weblog and Steve Pavlina's, I set new goals for myself earlier this year. I started with $12,000/m but by 3 years time. For this year, I'm focusing on $2,000/m, shortly followed by $3,000/m. That's just $66/day to start. (And I'm Canadian, so Cdn$2,000/m is even easier to reach when I'm paid in US dollars :) As soon as I set the smaller goal of $2,000/m, magic happened, and I started getting all kinds of requests to write for other blogs. I'm more than halfway to my goal, and in a couple of weeks, I may actually reach it. (It's because the $2,000 is easier to believe, for now, than $12,000.) Chris: Your being specific is a good thing. I don't have a "real job", so all my earnings come from online efforts. $50k (£28k) is a decent(ish) salary in the UK.
