Moving to Phase 2
By Chris on Jun 6, 2006 in Get Rich Project, Goals
If you’re one of my 2 regular readers (Hi Mum!), you’ll have noticed a dramatic slowdown in the number of new articles this last 2-3 weeks. From 2-3 articles a day, we’ve gone to 1-2 a week.
I make no apologies for this; I’ve been busy building the next step in the evolution of this site. You see, I always imagined this site starting up through two distinct phases: phase one was me writing mostly on saving money, budgeting and other personal finance issues – how to deal with the money you have, basically. Phase 2, on the otherhand is about making money. You see, it’s not called The Get Rich Project for nothing. I fully intend to leverage this site in my goal to be rich(er).
This isn’t to say I’ll no longer be posting anything on saving/budgeting/money tips. There will still be entries on those subjects mixed in. The primary focus will, however, be “web entrepreneurship” and making money online.
It’s because of this I’ve been so busy these last few weeks. You can’t write about something you have little or no experience of, so I’ve been doing research into various means of generating cash online. I’ve poured through various ebooks and forums looking at what the “experts” say. I’ve even started putting some of it into practice recently, just to see if what they suggest actually works.
Along with the change of focus, there will be a redesign rolled out sometime in the near future.
It’s going to be a busy few months ahead – I better get cracking!

Good luck, I look forward to phase 2 of this site. It’s always interesting to read about the thoughts and processes that other people use to make money both online and off.

It’s mostly through reading other people’s “thoughts and processes” that I was inspired to get started! Hopefully I can document how things go (for better or worse) well enough to inspire other people too!

Hey, I love this blog, a great way to keep a record of what you have been up to and I’m sure it will become a legacy once you have reached financial freedom.
It’s kind of along the same lines as mine, though I use mine more as a landing pad for all my random ramblings! I hope to put some more business orientated posts up again soon!
My blog is here for anyone interested.

Yeah, one day I hope to be able to show this blog to my son and say “and that’s how I made my money…”! :-)

How do I move to Phase 2? I started this in May or June – have telephoned to request this info, but never heard back. I’ve been charged another $65, but why? Please change me to Phase 2 – I’d like to continue on some weight loss – even if it’s only 10 pounds.
