Ever wonder how much of a content in a ‘top’ blog is actually original. Well, read an article regarding an analysis of problogger.net. And from it it seems that about half of it is actually ‘original’……

Hi Darren, welcome to the Get Rich Project.

I know from when I was helping out another blog for a while - even a short “news” style entry can still take upwards of half an hour to write. The final post might only be a paragraph or two, but once you’ve tracked down other relevant links, edited you spelling, grammar, etc, it adds up.

Quality takes time and effort, which unfortunately not everyone seems prepared to give.

nice analysis. I’d agree with your ‘Darren writes a lot’ conclusion - especially considering that the ‘news’ can often take time to write (some of it involves testing products etc) and that I also edit most of the contributed pieces and work them up to a point where I’m happy to publish them :-) And that’s just one of my blogs! hmmm… I feel tired :-)
