The Get Rich Project (or GRP for short), is about money matters. Finance it seems, is a bit of a dirty word to most people. Perhaps this line of thinking is why the average UK household is nearly �£8000 in the red.

GRP is about working for financial freedom; freedom so you can enjoy life, rather than be working yourself into an early grave.

It is important to note that The Get Rich Project is not about �Get Rich Quick� schemes or other piffle. There will be discussion about various means to supplement an income, but promising untold riches for no effort is not my aim!

As much as anything, this site is about tracking thoughts and ideas about matters relating to finance, and following my own progress towards being able to call myself �financially independent�.

I wrote this in the very first entry on the Get Rich Project. It still holds up today, even though when I first started writing on this site I was getting out as much of my thoughts on dealing with money you already have coming in as I possibly could; now I’m more focused on how I (and by proxy, you) can make more money using the tools available to you on the Internet. If I want to be “financially independent” I’m going to have to work for it, so work I shall.
